On March 15, 2022, the Foundation said a sad goodbye to Beth Shearer, who officially retired from her role as executive director of development. Shearer has been an incredible asset to the diocese for the past 5 years. She is credited for advancing the work of the development office and laying the groundwork of the new Catholic Foundation for Diocese of Salina. Shearer will be greatly missed.
Foundation CEO, Katie Platten says, “I have learned so much through working with Beth, and while I am sad to see her leave, I do wish her all the best in her retirement.”
